Games/Scrimmages & Officiating
We offer affordable RECREATION level Ultimate Frisbee programs, where participants can learn the FUNdamentals in a supportive environment. Our background checked volunteer coaches are trained to focus on developing teamwork, and leadership, with a focus on learning from each game experience win or lose. Thank you for supporting the players, coaches and umpires with positive cheering, to help create a FUN learning environment for the participants. All games are in Nibley and close to home. In all leagues, players manage the game with help from the coaches. Parents are encourages to support “The Spirit of the Game” outlined below.
The Spirit of the Game: The foundation of the rules in ultimate is Spirit of the Game, which places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules and the basic joy of play. Players are responsible for their own foul and line calls. Players resolve their own disputes. Parents are not to vocalize their opinion on calls during the game.
Registration
Registration for Ultimate Frisbee closed the middle of June. We did open up a waiting list (link below). At this point all of our player spots are filled, uniforms are ordered, teams are formed and practicing, and games will begin as scheduled. If your child missed the season and would still like to play please add them to the waiting list and we will let you know if a player drops, or if there is an opportunity with another city. If your child is on the waiting list we will also notify you when registration opens again next year.

Ultimate Frisbee
Season: July 17th-August 14th (approximate)
Practice: happens during the first part of the scheduled game time for ALL leagues. Coaches have the option of doing additional practices, however, they are not manditory.

Weather cancelation NOTIFICATION: plan on a game unless notified by a coach regardless of the forecast. Weather related cancelations are determined at or before 4 pm the day of the game. Notification will be a text or phone call from the coach, and or Nibley City and may also posted to Nibley City Facebook.
