Heritage Days Coloring Contest FREE: due Sat June 17th

Prizes for top entries by age category, due Mon June 17th at Nibley City Hall (entries may a be dropped off in the utility drop box). Entries will be displayed in the windows of the Gym at Heritage Elementary (925 W 3200 S).

5K Run $ and FREE Mile/Kids Runs: on Sat June 15th 8 am

Start our week-long celebration with a professionally timed 5K walk/run, that includes fun creative prize categories and an exceptional raffle, all at an affordable price, on a beautiful course. Our streamlined check-in, finish bag pick-up, and awards/raffle along with a well marked course,are just the experience every runner appreciates. Disc Golf Tournament Recreation tournanement FREE

To participate, you must register and pick up your player’s pack in person at Infinite Discs, located at 111 S 1200 W Logan, UT.

These packs will be available June 10th-14th from 9 am-6pm. We will allow some late day signups from 8-10am Sat June 15th, but please try to register before the day of the tournament.

Registration is FREE for Nibley Residents, is just $10 for non-Nibley Residents.  A FREE tournament disc is included in each Player’s Pack that comes with registration. This tournament is available for players that have never played, as well as for more competitive players.

Details about divisions, courses, prizes, and how to turn in your score card will be provided at registration.

Come show off your creative side to the community! Bring family and friends for a fun-filled night! Plus, participants receive a sweet treat to cool them off and this year’s participants will be entered to win a fun prize basket.

Get out and experience the community on 2 wheels, help shape Nibley’s plan for bike, walk and trail improvements, participate and activities with prizes, while connecting to the community’s parks. Start and End wherever is most convenient along route. Map & activity card will be handed out at each station.  

  • Enter to win one of 5 – Specialized Youth Bike Helmets ($59.99 value) or one of 5 – $25 Al’s Gift Cards for visiting all 4 stations.
  • Bike Rodeo at Elkhorn Park for kids’ skill and safety training
  • Safety vest giveaway
  • Games and small treats at each station
  • Provide important feedback to inform the City’s Active Transportation Plan.

No traffic control will be provided, so be safe out there! Each participant is in charge of their own safety.

Nibley Children’s Theatre is proud to present an original turn-of-the-century play called The StoryTellers. With stories about everything from Vikings and ghosts to trappers and hummingbirds, there is something for everyone. Plus our adorable cats and playful bullfrogs will melt your heart and bring a smile to your face. And in between all the fun we’ve slipped in some “bee’s knees” facts to learn about Cache Valley history. So, be sure to join us at Andher Park at 7pm on June 20th and 21st for dandy time.

Everyone loves a parade, see bands, floats, classic cars and more in the Nibley Heritage Days parade. You’ll probably go home with a lot of candy too. The parade route will be the same as the past several years, however, due to the 1200 W Closure/Construction the detour path around the parade route is different.

Bring the whole family along and enjoy an afternoon of FREE interactive games and activities. Take a pony ride, play Gaga, and play games and activities pioneers played when the valley was settled. Several other exciting experiences are in store at this event, and we always add something new and different, watch social media for some big announcements. Be sure to catch our annual Beard Contest to see some of the best of Nibley in all their glory. Buy your lunch and a treat from delicious food vendors and shop at fun boutique booths. Parking is available at Logan Coach and Nibley Elementary School.

Heritage Days Beard and Moustache Contest FREE

During: Family Festivities Sat June 22nd @ 12:30 pm:

Our traditional Beard and Moustache contest is held in person at the Elkhorn park pavilion on June 22nd Saturday 12:30 pm @ our Heritage Days Family Festivities Event.  WE ARE ACCEPTING UP TO 10 ENTRIES so if you want a shot at amazing prizes including a 4 pack pass to the Cache Smokeout and Pioneer Day Festival at the American West Heritage Center, a membership to Zootah, an axe throwing set, or grilling supplies from Blackstone, along with thick cut bacon and other great stuff from local businesses you will need to register here now.  You must be present at the event to win.

Just prior to the contest (about Noon) presentation cards will be available first to pre-registered contestants to complete, then day of sign ups at the Info Booth.  You can then: 1- Let the Beard Moustache/Beard speak for itself 2- Take the mic and in 90 seconds or less present it yourself. or 3- Let the Emcee simply read a description you write.  All entries will receive something top entries will receive one of the themed prizes above. The Grand Champion will receive a sign to post at their home recognizing their achievement.

Nibley Fit Classes Jun 17th-21st: FREE

ALL of our Nibley group fitness classes at the Mountain Peak Facility, Nibley City Hall (Yoga) will be FREE. All you have to do is sign the waiver/roll to check in and you can try all of the wonderful classes we offer during Heritage Days week (June 10th-17th) from exceptional instructors in a place everyone feels welcome.

NIBLEY FIT SCHEDULE

 Firefly Walks: (self-guided)

Firefly Park and adjacent Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park are open after dark during firefly season (June-Early July) for self-guided firefly viewing. Please be patient, fireflies are on their own schedule and are typically most active between 9-10:30 pm depending on the evening and their overall activity. Heritage Days Coloring Contest Art Walk: Week of Heritage Days

Once judging is complete, the Coloring Contest entries will be displayed in the windows of the Gym at Heritage Elementary 925 W 3200 S, Nibley, UT 84321 Feel free to walk by, ride by, or drive by for a look at the work of some amazing young artists. Entries are displayed by age category.
