Joseph Wilson / Utah State University Bee Lab

Learn about monarch conservation efforts and the status of monarchs in Utah. Find out about ongoing studies and discoveries in regards to Utah fireflies, including Firefly Park population. And, learn about our valued pollinator in the bee family, both honey bees and bumble bees (Did you know that Utah is home to 11 species of bumble bees?)

Festival

Nibley will also be hosting a MONARCH FESTIVAL (AND OTHER WINGED CREATURES) on July 30, 2020, at Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park (2456 S 800 W, Nibley) if the COVID-19 situation allows. The event will be from 4:00-9:30 p.m. and will include bands, food trucks, presentations, and a number of community outreach booths. Again, details will be posted here and on our Facebook page.
