A Youth Summer Program – Open To ALL Cache Valley Youth
Season: July 6 – Aug 10 (avoiding 24th of July)
(WEEKDAY GAMES No Games Fri or Sat avoiding July 24th)
NO Overlaps! There will be NO game overlap for players in Nibley City Recreation Baseball/Softball, Fall Soccer, and or Flag Football. Actual game schedule based on the number of teams. Registration includes a FREE skills clinic for grades 2-8th taught by high school players.
Games and Practice: all games and practices will be held in Nibley City at a park, all learn to play practices/game warm ups will be held during the first 10 min of the scheduled game.
Game Days: NO Fri or Sat games! We anticipate 1-2 games per week on Mon-Thur eveings with some games played under the lights at Anhder Park
Program Details: Ultimate frisbee is a fun outdoor team sport that can be enjoyed by players with very little to extensive athletic experience. We will be playing a 4v4 format for 2nd-8th grade that gives players lots of touches on the frisbee, helping all players improve their game quickly. The first portion of the scheduled games will be a practice/game warm up, led by a coach, that will instruct participatants on the finer points of the game.
Perfect Cross Training: this low impact sport, helps athletes avoid off season injuries while staying in shape, and is the perfect off season training for flag and tackle football, soccer, hockey, basketball, and more.

Registration is open until filled: If applicable, any registration requests after May 23rd or when the program is filled must be placed on the waiting list by a parent or guardian to be considered for available openings. The electronic waiting list form is available online on this page.
WAITING LIST: any available spots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis which may not occur until after games begin in July.
Refunds: If the entire season needs to be cancelled by Nibley City Recreation for this program for unforeseen circumstances (including health department restrictions), a full refund will be given to all participants. Partial season cancelations by Nibley City for the same reasons will merit a partial refund. Participant initiated refunds are subject to cancelation fees outlined in the registration terms and in short are not available after the scheduled coach meeting.
Available Leagues:
Open to players currently in 2nd-12th grade based on 2022-2023 (Current School Year)
*We anticipate having:
2nd-8th Grade: at least 2 leagues, but will hopefully have 3 leagues
Divided evenly by grade as appropriate 4v4 format (same as previous years)
9th-12 Grade NEW League!!: one league with representation from local High Schools
On a larger field likely a 5v5 format
All teams are coed and will be supported by coaches, All practices/game warm ups will be held just prior to the scheduled game.
