A Youth Summer Program – Open To ALL Cache Valley Youth
Season: July 8 – Aug 9 (avoiding 24th of July) WEEKDAY GAMES No Games Fri or Sat
Games and Practice: all games and practices will be held in Nibley City at a park, all learn to play practices/game warm ups will be held during the first 10 min of the scheduled game.
Game Days: NO Fri or Sat games! We anticipate 1-2 games per week on Mon-Thur evenings with some games played under the lights at Anhder Park.
Program Details: Ultimate frisbee is a fun outdoor team sport that can be enjoyed by players with very little to extensive athletic experience. We will be playing a 4v4 format for 2nd-8th grade that gives players lots of touches on the frisbee, helping all players improve their game quickly. 9th-12th grade players will play on a larger field in a 4v4 or 5v5 format depending on participation numbers. The first portion of the scheduled games will be a practice/game warm up, led by a coach, that will instruct players on the finer points of the game.
Perfect Cross Training: this low impact sport, helps athletes avoid off season injuries while staying in shape, and is the perfect off season training for flag and tackle football, soccer, hockey, basketball, and more.
NO Overlaps! There will be NO game overlap for players in Nibley City Recreation Baseball/Softball, Nerf Tag, Youth Cross Country, Pickleball Lessons, Fall Soccer, and or Flag Football. Actual game schedule based on the number of teams. Registration includes a FREE skills clinic for registered participants taught by high school players.

Registration is open until filled: If applicable, any registration requests after May 14th or when the program is filled must be placed on the waiting list by a parent or guardian to be considered for available openings. The electronic waiting list form is available online on this page.
WAITING LIST: any available spots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis which may not occur until after games begin in July.
Refunds: If the entire season needs to be cancelled by Nibley City Recreation for this program for unforeseen circumstances (including health department restrictions), a full refund will be given to all participants. Partial season cancelations by Nibley City for the same reasons will merit a partial refund. Participant initiated refunds are subject to cancelation fees outlined in the registration terms and in short are not available after the scheduled coach meeting.
Available Leagues: Open to players currently in 2nd-12th grade based on 2023-2024 (Current School Year)
Format: *We anticipate having: having 3 leagues divided evenly by age/grade as appropriate, and will play a 4v4 format (same as last year). The 9th-12 Grade league will play on a larger field and based on numbers will play a 4v4 or 5v5 format. All teams are coed and will be supported by coaches, team managers, and as applicable team captains. All practices/game warm ups will be held just prior to the scheduled game.
