 Saturday June 16

 FUN RUN  / 7:15 am / Heritage Park FREE FLYER

 Online Registration 

This is a great way to start the day. Run or walk the fastest course in Cache Valley. The 5K and 1-mile course are available for anyone. A 100 yd dash for age 4 and under, 1/4 mile for ages 8 and under and 1/2 mile for ages 12 and under. Top finishers will recieve awards, see flyer for exciting special categories. Preregister online, at City Hall, or the morning of the event. Alternative printable Registration Form

Brought to you by Infinite Disc and the Cache Valley Disc Golf club the disc golf tournament will be single format play. This event is for everyone–regardless of experience. Discs can be provided if needed. Preregistration is preferred at www.infinitediscs.com. Expect great prizes and a raffle. Infinite Disc will give one disc to each Nibley City resident who registers and plays.  Disc Golf Registration

 

PARENT'S COMEDY NIGHT OUT/ 7:00 pm / Nibley City Hall 455 W 3200 S $ FLYER

Bring your date and enjoy an evening of clean standup comedy. Family comedian, Karen Eddington will be sure to make you laugh out loud. Tickets are $5/ person at the door or go to Online Registration  for special advanced pricing. Concessions will also be available.  

Wednesday  June 20

CHALK ART/ 6 pm / Nibley City Hall FREE
Bring your art skills and create a temporary, chalk masterpiece at Nibley City Hall. Enjoy a summer treat and get creative on the sidewalks outside city hall. This year’s prizes will be chosen through a drawing and all artists are eligible. Chalk is provided. Coloring Contest  entry forms are available at this event.
USU ART TRUCK/ 6 pm / Nibley City Hall FREE 
Enjoy an interactive art experience brought to Nibley from the USU Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art Truck.  This promises to be a fun experience for children of all ages.

Travel somewhere over the rainbow with the Nibley Children’s Theatre to see The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Enjoy this exciting, musical adventure featuring Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, & the Wicked Witch of the West. 

Friday  June 22

QUILT SHOW: Noon - 6 pm / Nibley City Hall FREE
Presented by South Cache Quilters 
 MAYOR'S DINNER / 5:00 pm / 3200 S Park $ PRE-REGISTRATION
Join Mayor Dustin for dinner at this annual event. The Nibley City Council will serve you Hawaiian style food from Mo’Bettah’s and Mayor Dustin will recognize Nibley’s Citizen and Woman of the Year. This year’s Mayor’s Dinner is brought to us in part by Cache Valley Bank. A pre-pay price of $10.00 per immediate family (up to six 6 people) or $3/person is avialble. Day of Pay at-the-door is $4/person based on availability, cash or cards will be accepted. Children 3 and under are free. Prepay online or at Nibley City Hall by June 18 at 5:00 p.m.

PARADE / 10:00 am / Heritage Elementary FREE  
Heritage Elementary to 10th W. to 2600 S. to 8th W. to 3200 S. and ends at Heritage Elementary. Part of 3200 S. will be blocked off to facilitate drop-off and pick up for parade participants. (Parking at the church on 3200 S. is recommended for drivers of parade participants.) Parade Application (Due by 5pm June 15th)  Parade Route
Coloring Contest (enter to win a squirt gun and a FREE ride in the Parade!)
FAMILY FESTIVITIES / 11:00 am - 2:00 pm / Elkhorn Park FREE Activities 
Bring the whole family along and enjoy an afternoon of free interactive games and activities. Spike Ball Tournament Try the climbing wall, take a pony ride, play bubble soccer, or play games and activities pioneers played when the valley was settled. And, don’t forget our beard contest. Buy your lunch and a treat from delicious food vendors and shop at great boutique booths. Parking is available at Logan Coach and Nibley Elementary School.

NIBLEY HERITAGE SHOW / 8:30 pm / Anhder Park 3200 S.  FREE
A variety show featuring the talent from the recent Nibley Talent show and other great performers.  Consessions will be available.

The dance goes till 11:00 p.m. and is D.J.’d by Jivin’ Audio. Recommended for ages 14+. It’s gonna be LIT!
