Nibley City will hold its municipal election this fall to elect a Mayor and two council members. If a Primary Election is necessary, the Primary Election date is Tuesday, August 15, 2017; the General Election date is Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Nibley elections are non-partisan.

Anyone interested in filing for one of these offices must:
• Be a U.S. citizen at time of filing
• Be a registered voter of Nibley City
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a resident of Nibley City for at least 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of election (November 7, 2017)
• Not be a convicted felon
Each person seeking to become a candidate for a municipal office shall file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the Nibley City Recorder or Deputy Recorder, 455 West 3200 South, Nibley, Utah, during office hours and not later than 5:00 p.m. from June 1 through June 7, 2017. The appropriate filing form will be available at the City Council Recorder's Office. There is no filing fee.
