dogNibley City is required by the State of Utah to have current, updated records on all dogs within our city. This means that every year from Jan. 2nd to Feb. 28th, we update all dog registrations within city limits. Even if your rabies is current, we re-register our dogs every year! Our dogs are given specific city tags, and we keep records of current rabies vaccinations and spaying/neutering. This ensures that all dogs within the city are happy and healthy, and their owners are identified. If you get a new dog, please visit Nibley City so that we can get the rabies/ neutering information on your pup, give them their tags, and record you as their owner. If your dog gets loose, we are often able to contact you firsthand so you can have peace of mind.

Please note that if you choose not to license your dog, if your pupper ever does get caught by Animal Control they will be subject to impounding and kenneling fees, possible extra citations, and you can't get your dog out unless you register them with the city.

Nibley City Code states that a residence may only have 2 dogs total. If you wish to have a third dog, you must speak with Nibley City employees concerning a Kennel License or a Conditional Use Permit if the third dog is going to be a service dog.

Cats and other animals are not required to be licensed!

 Annual fees are as follows:

Spayed or Neutered Dogs - $15.00
Unaltered Dogs - $25.00
Kennel License - $25.00 (required for 3 or more dogs and you must speak to staff prior to obtaining a kennel license)
