Nibley City to Unveil Veteran Memorial Friday

NIBLEY, UT – Nibley City will unveil a veteran memorial at Nibley Elementary School this Friday, May 24, @ noon. The memorial will be in honor of former Nibley Elementary School teacher Micheal Alleman, who was killed during his service in the United States Army in Iraq 10 years ago after he left his position as a teacher in order to serve his country.

The ceremony will include comments from Nibley Mayor Shaun Dustin, Nibley Elementary School Principal Kelly Rindlisbacher and Alleman’s widow, Amy Alleman. Members of Alleman’s family will be in attendance, and students from Nibley Elementary will perform a musical number.
